SOLEDAD, Monterey County — October 27, 2026. Families can look ahead to a community Halloween gathering on Saturday, October 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. Soledad’s municipal calendar lists Spookfest as an upcoming city event.

Travel and pedestrian safety

The city’s published event and road-closure planning identifies Front Street between Encinal Street and Soledad Street as an intended event-closure segment. Drivers should confirm temporary closure times with the city’s current public notices and follow on-site detours. A listed closure segment does not mean the road is closed throughout the day.

What families should verify

Soledad’s event listing gives a 3–6 p.m. window but does not establish detailed admission prices, activity schedules or parking availability in the summary. Residents should use the municipal calendar and Recreation Department announcements for late changes. An October 24 Halloween Haunt Night was a separate, earlier activity; it should not be confused with the October 31 Spookfest.

Editorial note: This is an advance event notice, not an assertion that the festival has already taken place.
